Barry Greenspon - writer/creative director - Dallas, Texas
Infants in diapers selling tires. The fall of communism--predicted months in advance--to demonstrate the wisdom of one of Wall Street's largest firms. Putting the first all-wheel drive sedan on railroad tracks to demonstrate how it outperformed front and rear-wheel drive automobiles.
These are only a few of the innovative advertising concepts Barry Greenspon devised to help generate sales for clients, in these cases Michelin, Shearson Lehman Brothers and Audi. He produced the same kind of work on everything from American Airlines to Aamco Transmissions, Chivas Regal to Colombian Coffee, Polaroid to West Point Pepperell. He was responsible for the concept and line, "Shaves as close as a blade or your money back" for Remington shavers. As well as the line "Because so much is riding on your tires" for Michelin.
Now, after some restless years in retirement, he's decided to get back to doing what he did so successfully in the past. Which could bode well for the future. Your company's.
